Plucked from a small town in Australia and raised in the crumbling majesty of Rome, Tanzer is the reigning queen of culture-clash dancefloor decadence and one of Australia’s most distinctive voices in disco and house.

With a perfectly lacquered finger in the worlds of music, art, fashion and beauty, Tanzer’s adventures often combine all four; flawlessly weaving disco, house, Euro soundtracks and ‘space opera’ vocals into DJ sets, music releases and art installations around the world. Tanzer brings a distinctly theatrical, fashion-forward sensibility to the decks, channelling the glamour, freedom and fierce joy of disco.

She’s brought her magic to iconic venues like David Lynch’s Silencio Paris and the Sydney Opera House — handpicked by brands like Chanel, Comme des Garçons, Coach and Spotify, and DJed parties for Paris Fashion Week, World Pride, Palm Springs Pride, Vivid Sydney, Sottosopra and Laneway Festival.

Beyond the decks, Tanzer is a multi-hyphenate creative, composing original music and curating music experiences for Milan Fashion Week, Australian Fashion Week and Melbourne Fashion Week. She has also curated and programmed work for leading Australian cultural institutions including ACMI, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), HOTA and the National Portrait Gallery, released sell-out fashion collaborations, and exhibited nationally with her immersive music video installation Disco Instamatic.
